On July 3, 2022, at approximately 9:50 p.m., State Police responded to a residence on State Highway 310, in the town of Madrid for a larceny of a vehicle. A preliminary investigation determined that McLean took the vehicle, which had no registration, license plates, active insurance or valid inspection, without the owner’s permission.
During the investigation, McLean was located by the Ogdensburg Police Department and State Police Ogdensburg in a closet of a residence in the City of Ogdensburg.
On Augst 4, 2022, State Troopers arrested and transported Mclean to SP Ogdensburg for processing. He was arraigned in the City of Ogdensburg Court where he was released on his own recognizance for the warrants but remanded to St. Lawrence County Jail for CPSP-4th due to his prior felonies.
