On November 14, 2019, State Police arrested 38-year-old Travis M. Pescia of Peru for manufacturing methamphetamine. Subsequent to an investigation, materials consistent with the manufacture of methamphetamine, as well as precursors, were located at his residence.
Pescia was charged with Unlawfully Manufacturing Methamphetamine 3rd degree (D felony), and Criminal Possession of the Precursors of Methamphetamine (E felony). He was arraigned in the Peru Town Court and remanded to the Clinton County Jail in lieu of $2,000 cash bail, or $4,000 bond.
