State Police arrest a Pine City resident for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated.

On January 19, 2023, at approximately 1:30 a.m., State Police out of Wellsburg conducted a traffic stop on S. Walnut Street, in the City of Elmira, for multiple vehicle and traffic law violations. While interviewing the driver, Travis E. Ladd, age 31, from Pine City, the trooper detected a strong odor of alcoholic beverage emanating from Ladd.  Ladd then subsequently failed Standardized Field Sobriety Testing and was transported to SP Horseheads where he gave a positive BAC breath sample.

Ladd was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated and was given an appearance ticket returnable to the City of Elmira Court on February 24, 2023, at 10:00 a.m.
