State Police arrest Roxbury man on larceny and drug charges

On January 15, 2023, State Police arrested Patrick T. Combs, 24, of Roxbury, for Grand Larceny 3rd degree, Criminal Possession of Cannabis 3rd degree and Operating a Motor Vehicle while Under the Influence of Drugs 1st degree.

On January 15, 2023, at approximately 12:39 p.m., State Police were called to State Highway 30 in the town of Roxbury for a report of a larceny by a store employee.

A preliminary investigation determined that Combs stole an undisclosed amount from a safe and then left the store in his vehicle.

Troopers located Combs and when approaching his vehicle could smell an odor of cannabis.

While conducting an inventory of the vehicle, Troopers located a large amount of cannabis, a weight scale, drug paraphernalia and alcohol.

The investigation is ongoing.
