State Police arrest Summit man for Assault

On September 18, 2023, State Police of Cobleskill arrested Andrew M. Craig, 25, of Summit, NY, for Assault in the third degree, Menacing in the second degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the fourth degree, and Harassment in the second degree. 

On September 18, 2023, at about 2:25 p.m., Troopers responded to a home on Rossman Fly Road in Summit, NY, for the reports of a physical altercation with injuries. The investigation determined Craig got into a physical dispute with a tenant of another unit in the home. During the argument, Craig reportedly displayed a knife in a menacing manner and threatened the victim with it. The knife was not used to cause injury to the victim. 

Craig was arrested at the scene and transported to SP Cobleskill for processing. He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Summit Town Court on October 5, 2023, and released.
