State police arrest three men on weapons charges

The New York State Police announce the arrest of Jamel Williams, Age 33, of Middletown, NY, Lavoris Williams, Age 34, or New York, NY, and Vashorne McClain, Age 25, of Staten Island, NY for Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2^nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3^rd Degree, Criminal Possession of Cannibis.

All three subjects were in a vehicle that was subject to a vehicle and traffic stop. An illegal 9mm Taurus Handgun loaded with ammunition was located within the vehicle. All three subjects were held pending arraignment at the Orange County Jail.

The New York State Police were assisted on the traffic stop by the City of Middletown Police Department.
