On Saturday, October 3, 2020, State Police Deerpark responded to Oak Circle for an assault. Investigation revealed that Raheem Brickhouse, age 23 from the town of Deerpark was released from Orange County Jail on October 2, 2020 for a domestic incident. Brickhouse returned to the scene on October 3 and initiated a verbal altercation with the complainant. During the altercation Brickhouse picked up a small statue and hit a third party in the back of the head causing injury. Brickhouse then fled the scene. He was observed to take a weapon out of his pocket, later determined to be a BB gun, and began to randomly shoot at vehicles in the area. Additional investigation revealed that he shattered the windows of several vehicles in the area. Brickhouse was charged with Criminal Mischief 3rd degree and Assault 2nd degree, both felonies. He was also charged with the misdemeanor Criminal Mischief 4th degree. Brickhouse was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Deerpark Court on November 11, 2020 at 7:00 p.m.
