On October 7, 2022, at about 1:48 p.m., Troopers arrested Donald W. Clark, 35, of Malta, NY, on a warrant for Grand Larceny in the Third Degree, Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree and Auto Stripping in the Third Degree.

An investigation determined Clark worked with Dillard during the theft of the catalytic converted on April 6, 2022. Clark was arrested upon being released from NYSDOC Orleans Correctional Facility on a unrelated matter and transported to SP Wilton for processing. He was arraigned at the Wilton Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Correctional Facility.

On September 22, 2022, State Police of Wilton arrested Shari L. Stephens, 38, of Mechanicville, NY, for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fifth Degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree.  Michael J. Dillard, 36, of Corinth, was also arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree.  Dillard had an outstanding arrest warrant for Grand Larceny in the Third Degree and Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree. 

On September 22, 2022, at about 7:41 p.m., Troopers stopped a vehicle on I-87 in Wilton, NY, for a speeding violation. During the interview, the operator was identified as Stephens, and the passenger as Dillard.  The investigation determined Dillard had an active warrant for his arrest and was found to possess drugs while being taken into custody.  Stephens also possessed drugs and stolen property. 

Both were transported to SP Wilton for processing.  Stephens was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Wilton Town Court on September 27, 2022, and released. 

The warrant for Dillard’s arrest was issued following an investigation into a complaint of a stolen catalytic converter Troopers received on April 6, 2022, from a business in Wilton, NY. The investigation determined Dillard was responsible for removing a catalytic converter from a vehicle he did not own parked at the location. Dillard was arraigned at the Wilton Town Court for all charges and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail without bail.
