On June 20, 2022, State Police arrested Renee C. Robert, 20, of Vermont, for Grand Larceny 3rd degree and vehicle and traffic violations.

On June 20, 2022, at approximately 9:01a.m., State Police were called to Route 9 in the town of AuSable for a report of larceny of a vehicle.

A preliminary investigation determined that Robert took the vehicle, which had no registration, license plates, active insurance or valid inspection without the owner’s permission.

During the investigation, Robert was located by the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office driving the vehicle northbound on Interstate 87 in the town of Beekmantown and a traffic stop was initiated.

Troopers transported Robert to SP Plattsburgh for processing and she was arraigned in the town of AuSable Court and released.

Robert is due to reappear in the town of AuSable Court on June 24, 2022.
