State Police arrest Whitehall woman in stolen vehicle investigation

On February 18, 2023, State Police of Brunswick arrested Linda A. Vandenburgh, 58 of Whitehall, NY for Grand Larceny in the Third Degree.

On February 15, 2023, at about 1:50 p.m., Troopers received a complaint that a vehicle had been stolen from a Salem, NY, residence. The investigation determined Vandenburgh took possession of the vehicle without the owner’s permission. On February 17, 2023, the Watervliet Police Department located and secured the stolen vehicle.

On February 18, 2023, Vandenburgh was located and transported to SP Granville for processing. She was turned over to the Washington County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
