James A. Grant Jr.
On February 8, 2023, New York State Police from the Ellenville barracks arrested James A. Grant Jr, age 73, from Pine Bush, NY, for Sex Abuse 1st degree, a felony, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a misdemeanor.
State Police were notified on January 27, 2023, that Grant touched a minor in an inappropriate manner. An investigation revealed that On January 24, 2023, that he inappropriately touched a minor under the age of 11.
Grant was arraigned in the Town of Wawarsing Court in front of Judge Dechon. He was released on $5,000 bail and an Order of Protection was issued. He is ordered to return to the Town of Shawangunk Court on February 21, 2023, at 6:00 p.m.
