On February 19, 2023, at three different times, New York State Police responded to Otisville Correctional Facility to assist with the arrest of three women who attempted to bring contraband into the jail.

At 10:00 a.m., noon, and 12:15 p.m., State Police from the Greenville barracks (Orange County) were contacted by New York State Department of Corrections of three different women attempting to bring narcotics into the facility.  None of the suspects were together.

At 10:00 a.m., Teeara Thomas, age 19, from New York, New York, attempted to bring in 12.6 grams of Marihuana. She was charged with the misdemeanor of Promoting Prison Contraband 2nd degree. She was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Mount Hope Town Court on March 9, 2023, at 7:00 p.m.

At 12:00 p.m. noon, Keymani Washington, age 21, from Roosevelt, NY attempted to bring in 43 grams of Marihuana. She was charged with the misdemeanor of Promoting Prison Contraband 2nd degree. She was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Mount Hope Town Court on March 9, 2023, at 7:00 p.m.

At 12:15 p.m., Inala James, age 24, from Queens, NY, attempted to bring in 72 grams of Marihuana and 14 Sublingual strips. She was charged with the misdemeanors of Promoting Prison Contraband 2nd degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. She was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Mount Hope Town Court on March 9, 2023, at 7:00 p.m.
