State Police arrested a Wallkill woman for Identity Theft and Grand Larceny

On June 22, 2022, State Police Montgomery arrested Tammy Granieri, age 56 from the town of Wallkill following an investigation into fraudulent transactions at TD Banks. Investigation revealed that Granieri used a stolen New York State Driver’s License to obtain access to the victim’s bank account. From November 2018 through April 2022, Granieri stole over $29,700 from the account using a fraudulent ID card.

Tammy Granieri was charged with the felonies Grand Larceny 3rd degree, Identity Theft, and Forgery 2nd degree. She was arraigned in the City of Middletown Court and released on her own recognizance.
