On September 12, 2022, Troopers arrested Chaz L. Welker, 23 of Wilmington, NY for menacing 2nd and Criminal possession of a weapon 4th.

On September 12, 2022, around 10:27 a.m., Troopers responded to State Route 86, in the town of Wilmington for a menacing complaint.  A preliminary investigation revealed Welker and the victim were involved in a verbal argument regarding smoking marijuana on the job.  Welker pulled a weapon out of his pocket causing fear to the victim.  Welker was arrested and transported to SP Wilmington for processing.

Welker was arraigned in the Wilmington Town Court and was released on his own recognizance.
