They were each charged with one count of Grand Larceny 4th degree and released with appearance tickets returnable in the Town of Potsdam Court.

Original release: On June 29, 2020, at approximately 4:40 pm, three unidentified individuals, a white male, and two white females, stole a variety of merchandise from the Potsdam Wal-Mart, located on State Route 11, in the town of Potsdam. Video surveillance captured the three individuals exiting through the grocery side doors without paying for the merchandise in their two carts.

The male suspect was wearing a black baseball cap, a short-sleeve blue shirt, jeans, tan work boots, a mask, and he had a tattoo on his left forearm. The first female suspect wore a pink camouflage hoodie, patterned leggings, a mask, and had long dark hair. The second female suspect was wearing a black and pink floral blouse with capri-length leggings and she had lighter-colored long wavy hair. The three individuals loaded the stolen merchandise into a white SUV, possibly an older model Chevrolet Equinox, and left Wal-Mart heading toward the village of Potsdam. Anyone with information is asked to contact Trooper Dennis Klyuzov at (518) 873-2776.
