State police conduct Underage Drinking Enforcement Detail in St. Lawrence County

PRESS RELEASE

On October 30, 2022, the New York State Police, Troop B conducted an Underage Drinker Enforcement Operation in St. Lawrence County. During the operation, all businesses complied. 

Eleven businesses in compliance were:

Stewarts, Canton, NY

Stewarts, Gouverneur, NY

7Eleven, Gouverneur, NY

Tripps’, Fowler, NY

Sliders, Harrisville, NY

Main Street Market, Edwards, NY

Family Dollar, Gouverneur, NY

Family Dollar, Dekalb Junction, NY

Snack Shop, Richville, NY

Kinney’s, Gouverneur, NY

Dollar General, Gouverneur, NY

During these investigations, businesses are checked utilizing a trooper in plainclothes, and one or several underage operatives who cannot lie about their age or provide a false date of birth.  When asked for ID, they must show their real ID.
