Brandon Dick, 18, Red Hook, NY, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree.

State Police Captain David Kolb, Zone Commander in Columbia County, stated that the State Police continue to proactively work to remove intoxicated and impaired drivers from the roadways throughout the county and the state.  “Several drivers thanked us for being out there”, Captain Kolb said.  He also noted several ride sharing services traveled through the checkpoint, and that some of the riders told the troopers they hired the service because they felt they had too much to drink and safely drive.
