                  State Police in Brunswick arrested a Grafton man for Forgery, Larceny and Scheme to Defraud. Shawn A. Briggs, 29, of Grafton was charged with 6 counts of Forgery in the third degree, 6 counts of Petit Larceny, both Misdemeanors and one count of Scheme to Defraud in the First Degree, a Felony. Advance Auto Parts reported to the Brunswick State Police that a male was charging auto parts to the account of a local business. Investigation revealed he was not employed by the business. State Police identified Briggs as the suspect and determined he also charged auto parts to the account of the Troy business at the Mechanicville, Colonie and Albany Advance Auto part locations. Briggs was processed at the Brunswick Barracks and was issued an Appearance Ticket to appear in the Town of Brunswick Court at a later date.
