State Police in Canandaigua arrest a Shortsville man on weapons and drug charges.

On December 5^th, 2022, the State Police Canandaigua BCI arrested Harrison S. Hardy, age 32, of Shortsville NY, for Criminal Possession Controlled Substance 3^rd Degree, Criminal Possession Controlled Substance 4^th Degree, Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2^nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3^rd Degree, Aggravated Family Offense, Criminal Contempt 1^st Degree, and Menacing 2^nd Degree.

The arrest is the result of a menacing with a handgun and violation of an Order of Protection complaint, which occurred in Clifton Springs NY.  State Police Investigators executed a search warrant on Hardy’s apartment and discovered a loaded handgun, cocaine, and psilocybin mushrooms. 

Hardy was processed at the Canandaigua barracks and sent to Ontario County Jail for centralized arraignment this morning.
