State Police in Painted Post arrest a Corning resident for Petit Larceny.

On Monday March 13^th 2023, troopers in Painted Post responded to a larceny report at the Wal-Mart in the Town of Erwin. Troopers were informed by loss prevention that the suspect had stolen merchandise on March 10, 2023. Troopers subsequently arrested William J. Torrence, age 36 of Corning, for Petit Larceny, a Class A Misdemeanor. 

Torrence was transported to SP Painted Post for processing, then released with an appearance ticket returnable to the Erwin Town Court on April 5, 2023.
