State Police in Rochester arrest 2 individuals on weapons and drug charges.

On July 9, 2022, the State Police arrested Renaldo J. Napier, age 36, and Dvonte D. Kennedy, age 30, for Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree, (Previous Conviction), Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree, (Defaced Weapon), and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree.

State Police conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle Napier and Kennedy were occupying, on North Clinton Avenue, and during the stop, troopers located a loaded 9 MM handgun with 9 live rounds. 

Napier and Kennedy were taken to the Monroe County Jail to await arraignment.
