PRESS RELEASE
On May18, 2022, at approximately 6:00 p.m., the State Police stopped a motorist for a traffic violation in the city of Rochester.
Troopers determined neither occupant of the vehicle had a valid driver’s license and further investigation revealed a loaded 9mm handgun inside the vehicle.
The operator was identified as Calvin Figuera, age 19, of Rochester, and was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree and numerous traffic tickets.
A passenger was identified as a 18 year old male, was also charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree.
