State Police in Somers conduct underage drinking initiative

Westchester County, New York - On November 20, 2022 the New York State Police from the Somers barracks conducted an Underage Drinking Initiative throughout Westchester County.

During this Underage Drinking Initiative, twenty-one retail establishments were checked for compliance utilizing a Trooper in plainclothes and an underage operative utilizing a valid NY Driver’s License.  All twenty-one establishments were in compliance and refused to sell any alcoholic beverages to the underage operative. 

The New York State Police routinely conducts underage drinking enforcement operations throughout the state in an effort to curb alcohol abuse and DWI incidents involving teenagers.
