PRESS RELEASE

 

 

On June 23, 2022, at approximately 10:26 a.m., the State Police responded to a serious accident at the intersection of County Route 41 and Payne Road in the Town of Farmington.  Investigators believe a southbound van drove through a stop sign and into the path of a westbound F-350 towing a dump trailer.

The 3 occupants in the F-350 were transported to Strong Hospital for apparent minor injuries.

The operator, and sole occupant of the van, was deceased at the scene.

State Police were assisted at the scene by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, and the Farmington and Victor Fire Departments.

The investigation is continuing and State Police will release more information after the family of the deceased is notified.
