PRESS RELEASE
 On September 12, 2021, at 5:36 a.m., State Police responded to an assault in the parking lot of Burchacon Housing, County Route 38, in Constable. An investigation revealed that 36-year-old Abraham T. Gray of Hogansburg stabbed another male several times in the torso. The victim was transported to University of Vermont Health Network at Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone for treatment. Gray was arrested and charged with one count each of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th degree, Assault 2nd degree, Menacing 2nd degree, and Harassment 2nd degree.  He was arraigned in Moira Town Court and remanded to the Franklin County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail, or $10,000 bond. Gray is to appear in Constable Town Court at a later date and time.
