UPDATE:
On Sunday, November 28, at approximately 12:45 p.m., State Police stopped to assist the MTA Bridges and Tunnels Police with a traffic stop on the Manhattan span of the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge.
During the traffic stop, the suspect vehicle suddenly drove off, striking a second uninvolved vehicle which then struck a State Trooper. The Trooper was taken to Elmhurst Hospital for treatment of a minor leg injury and was released.
This incident remains under investigation.

The New York State Police, along with the New York City Police Department and Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority, are investigating an officer involved shooting that happened just before 1:00 pm on the RFK Bridge, Manhattan span.
A Trooper was struck by a vehicle during the incident, suffered minor injuries, and was transported to a local hospital.
One lane of the bridge is currently closed at this time as part of the investigation.

The investigation is ongoing at this time.
