State Police investigating a robbery in the town of Mooers

On June 18, 2022, at approximately 1:57a.m., State Police were called to Woods Falls Road in the town of Mooers for a report of a robbery.

A preliminary investigation determined that the victim was picked up by a friend and three unfamiliar individuals in an unknown dark colored sedan.

During the investigation, it was determined that while in the car, one of the individuals pointed a gun at the victim and demanded their wallet and cell phone then told them to get out of the car. The victim then went to nearby residences to seek help in contacting the police.

There were no injuries reported and the investigation is ongoing.
