PRESS RELEASE
 
On Sunday May 22 2022, troopers from SP Painted Post identified a male riding his bicycle along State Route 352 in the town of Corning, as Andrew Vanzile.  State Police patrols were aware Vanzile had several active warrants, including 1 Superior Court Warrant.  As Vanzile noticed troopers, he immediately began to flee on his bicycle and eventually got off his bicycle to run down an embankment. 
Vanzile was found and apprehended by State Police K9 Bobby and will answer his three active warrants through NYSP in Painted Post.
Vanzile also has one active warrant through Village of Bath Police Department, one active warrant through the City of Corning Police Department, one active warrant through the Village of Painted Post Police Department, and one active warrant through the Steuben County Sheriffs Office.
