State Police received a report of a larceny on September 18, 2020 of an estimated $11,000-$17,000 worth of hemp plants from a local hemp farm in the Mayfield area.  It is believed that the suspects thought they were stealing hemp’s cousin marijuana and took the plants to be processed and sold as the drug.  Anyone with information regarding this incident or the sale of “fake” marijuana, most likely in the Mayfield, Gloversville, Amsterdam area, is asked to contact (518) 630-1700.
