On November 19, 2022, State Police arrested Kevin J. Hanlon, 48, of Kinderhook, NY, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree and Casey M. Hanlon, 47, of Kinderhook, NY, for Driving While Impaired by Drugs and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations.

On November 19, 2022, at about 9:48 p.m., State Police assigned to the Latham Interstate Patrol responded to a car that crashed into the median guide rail on Interstate 90 in Schodack, NY. On arrival, Troopers observed Casey M. Hanlon in the driver’s seat and Kevin J. Hanlon in the passenger seat. Both were unresponsive and not breathing. The Trooper administered Naloxone, and they began breathing and regained consciousness. No injuries were reported, and Casey M. Hanlon was arrested for Driving While Impaired by Drugs. Further investigation discovered Kevin J. Hanlon was in possession of heroin.

Both were transported to SP Schodack for processing. They were issued appearance tickets returnable to the Schodack Town Court on December 7th, 2022 and released to a sober party.
