On July 19, 2020, State Police in Chestertown arrested 31-year-old Aaron J. Baldwin of Cobleskill for Driving While Intoxicated- Previous Conviction (E felony).

Shortly after 6:00p.m. on Sunday, State Police responded to a property damage motor vehicle accident on Glenn Creek Rd in Johnsburg. Investigation at the scene determined that Aaron Baldwin had been traveling east on Glen Creek Road when he lost control of the vehicle and struck an embankment off the shoulder of the roadway. He was not injured on the crash.

When a Trooper spoke with Baldwin, they could smell the odor of alcohol. Baldwin was administered the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests during which he showed signs indicative of intoxication.

Baldwin was taken into custody and transported to SP Chestertown where he provided a breath sample of .15% B.A.C. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due to appear in Johnsburg Court on August 28, 2020 at 9:00 a.m.
