UPDATED PRESS RELEASE

 

On March 9, 2023, State Police arrested the following three individuals in Rochester for Robbery 1st degree, a class “B” felony, and Burglary 1st degree, a class “B” felony:

  • Kaalo Baggling, age 18 from Rochester, NY
  • Tamiyah P. Penn, age 18 from Rochester, NY
  • 16-year-old male juvenile, from Rochester, NY (currently under the supervision of NYS Office of Children and Family Services and was wearing an electronic monitoring ankle bracelet during the home invasion.)

Baggling and Penn were transported to the Madison County Jail to await CAP court arraignment. The 16-year-old juvenile was transported to the Madison County Family Court for arraignment.  

Today’s arrest was a collaborative effort that included Troops D and E – uniform patrol, BCI, Community Stabilization Unit, Violent Gang & Narcotics Team (VGNET), Forensic Identification Unit, NYS Parole - Rochester, Rochester Police Department, and the Monroe County Crime Analysis Center.  


On March 7, 2023, State Police arrested Emmanuel E. Brewer, age 18 from Hamilton, NY, and a 15-year-old juvenile from Herkimer for Robbery 1st degree, class "B" felony, and Burglary 1st degree, class "B" felony.

Brewer was arraigned in Madison County CAP court and held on $50,000 cash bail / $100,000 bond. The juvenile was transported to the custody of the Madison County Sheriff’s Office where he is being held on $50,000 cash bail / $100,000 bond. 

The investigation is continuing.


The New York State Police and the Village of Hamilton Police Department are jointly investigating a home invasion robbery that occurred on Saturday, March 4th, 2023, at approximately 5:30 pm at 29 Eaton Street in the village of Hamilton. 

Five individuals were involved in physically attacking the homeowner inside his residence and stealing numerous guns, drugs, an X-Box, and DeWalt tools.
