UPDATED: State Police seek public assistance with identifying an individual captured on surveillance video

Troopers have identified and interviewed the individual in the photo.  The State Police would like to thank the public for their assistance with this investigation.

State Police in Watertown are attempting to identify an individual that was captured on surveillance camera regarding an incident that occurred at the Walmart Store on Rt.11 in the town of LeRay, Jefferson County.

The individual in the photo was seen hitting and dragging a small child throughout the store on February 11, 2023.  Both the individual and the child left before the patrol arrived.

If anyone recognizes the individual in the photo, they are asked to contact State Police at (315) 366-6000.
