UPDATE: State Police locate stolen Bobcat machine from Town of Cortlandville

New York State Police are seeking the public’s assistance in finding a thief who stole a Bobcat T66 track machine from a Lowe’s parking lot in the Town of Cortlandville.

On March 20, 2023, at approximately 5:27 a.m., a  vehicle entered the Lowes parking lot located at 872 State Route 13 in the Town of Cortlandville. The suspect stole a 2021 Bobcat T66 track machine from the parking lot.

Upon leaving the parking lot at around 5:55 a.m., the vehicle traveled west on Lime Hollow Road. This vehicle is described as a 2020-2023 dark colored GMC 2500 or 3500 truck pulling a tilt bed trailer. Below is a photo of the suspect’s vehicle which was captured on security camera footage and an image of the track machine that matches the one that was stolen. The machine that was stolen did not have a bucket attached to it when it was taken.
