State Troopers arrest two males stemming from a domestic

On September 13, 2022, around 3:24 p.m., Troopers responded to a residence on Lapham Mills Road in the town of Peru for a domestic dispute involving a gun.  The investigation determined that Cody A. Sample, 34, of Saranac, NY, and the victim were involved in a dispute over a vehicle.  Sample went to the residence and stabbed the tires to the vehicle causing them to go flat.  Richard L. Baillargeon, 30, of Chazy, NY, confronted Sample regarding the slashed tires, while in possession of a handgun.

Baillargeon was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2^nd degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3^rd degree. He was arraigned at Peru Town Court and released. 

Sample was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief 2^nd degree.  He was arraigned at Peru Town Court and released.
