Steamburg man arrested for drug possession after Red House traffic stop

On January 12, 2021, SP Olean Troopers arrested George H. Truax, 55, of Steamburg, NY for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree.

During a traffic stop on Interstate 86 in the town of Red House, Truax was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.

Truax was arrested and released with an appearance ticket for Red House Town Court, where he is due to appear February.
