On October 10, 2019, State Police in Sand Lake arrested 41-year-old Matthew W. Williamson of Stephentown, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a misdemeanor.
At approximately 10:36 a.m. on Thursday, State Police stopped a vehicle traveling on State Route 43 in Stephentown for a traffic infraction.
When the Trooper interviewed the driver, Matthew Williamson, he could smell the odor of an alcoholic beverage and observed multiple indicators that Williamson was intoxicated. Williamson was administered the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, which he was unable to complete.
Williamson was taken into custody and transported to SP Sand Lake where he provided a breath sample of .28% B.A.C.
He was processed and issued an appearance ticket for Stephentown Town Court on October 16, 2019 at 7:00 p.m.
