Canastota, NY – On May 9, 2020, at approximately 11:35 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-90 in the village of Canastota for vehicle and traffic violations.  Upon interviewing the driver, probable cause to search the vehicle was established.  The driver, Duval B. Harper, 27, of Syracuse, NY, was found to be in possession of approximately 3.5 ounces of marijuana. 

 

Harper was taken into custody and transported to SP Syracuse where he was charged with Criminal Possession of Marijuana 4th degree; a Class A Misdemeanor and Vehicle and Traffic Violations. 

 

He was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Village of Canastota Court on June 18, 2020 at 9:00 a.m.
