The New York State Police in Montour Falls are asking for assistance in identifying a vehicle involved in a hit and run accident. 

On June 14, 2022, at approximately 6:45 p.m., while traveling West on State Route 224 in the town of Montour Falls, the vehicle in question struck an individual on a bicycle, causing minor injuries to the operator, then left the scene.  The vehicle was described as a bright white, mid-sized SUV, with no license plate, no vehicle manufacturer markings, fully tinted windows, black rims on firestone tires and lime green brake pads.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the New York State Police in Horseheads at 607-739-8797.
