On March 6, 2020, State Police in Wilton arrested 27-year-old Jessica M. Grove of Berne, 41-year-old Jasmine M. Brandon of Albany, and 24-year-old Richard E. Williams of Brooklyn, for two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree- Intent to Sell (B felony), two counts of Criminal Possession of a Narcotic Drug 4th degree (C felony), and five counts Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree (A misdemeanor). Williams was additionally charged with Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd degree (A misdemeanor).

At approximately 11:40 a.m. on Friday, State Police stopped Grove for a series of traffic infractions as she travelled down I-87 in the Town of Moreau.  When the trooper interview Grove, they observed drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. A subsequent search of the vehicle and its occupants revealed that they were in possession of approximately 8 grams of crack cocaine, approximately 7 grams of cocaine, a glassine envelope containing less than a gram of heroin, and assorted drug paraphernalia.

All three suspects were taken into custody and transported to SP Wilton for processing. They were arraigned in Moreau Town Court and released on their own recognizance. All three are due to appear in Moreau Town Court on March 25, 2020 at 9:00 a.m.
