PRESS RELEASE

On January 30, 2020, State Police in Wilton arrested 39-year-old Todd D. Derush of Moreau, for 2 counts of Burglary 2nd degree (C felony), 2 counts of Criminal Contempt 1st degree (E felony), Unlawful Surveillance 2nd degree (E felony), Eavesdropping (E felony), and Unlawful Possession of Eavesdropping Devices (A misdemeanor).
 
Derush is accused of unlawfully entering the home of the victim and hiding a recording device in a bedroom. His actions were in violation of a full stay away order of protection barring Derush from being on the property.
 
Derush was taken into custody and transported to SP Wilton for processing. He was arraigned in Moreau Town Court and remanded to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $40,000 cash or $80,000 bond. He is due back in court on February 5, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.
