Traffic infraction leads to drug charges


On July 15, 2020 at approximately 12:15a.m., Troopers out of SP Fredonia arrested Henry J. Fedrick, 30 of Portland, NY after a traffic infraction lead to drug charges for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd degree.


Troopers stopped Fedrick for moving from the driving lane unsafely in the village of Silver Creek.  While interviewing Fedrick, Troopers observed drug paraphernalia in the center console of the vehicle.  A search of the vehicle would find multiple smoking pipes, methamphetamine, a collection of small glassine envelopes as well as over $2,500 cash. 


Fedrick was placed into custody and processed at SP Fredonia and later transported for arraignment at Chautauqua County Jail.
