Ramapo, NY – On July 28, 2020, at approximately 2:30 a.m., State Police stopped a car on I-87 in the town of Ramapo for speeding in a work zone.  While interviewing the driver, probable cause to search the vehicle and the occupants was established.  The driver, Errick Kaladeen, 21, of Arverne, NY, and the passenger, Raquan D. Lloyd, 20, of Queens, NY, were found to be in possession of approximately 29.3 grams of heroin. 

 

The pair were taken into custody, transported, and processed at SP Newburgh where they were both charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell 3rd degree; both Class B Felonies.

 

Kaladeen and Lloyd were virtually arraigned before the Town of Ramapo Judge and were both released on their own recognizance.  A return court date for September 10, 2020 has been set. 

 

A 17-year-old passenger in the vehicle was also arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell 3rd degree.
