On August 31, 2019, State Police in Cobleskill arrested 34-year-old Farrahd J. Singleton of Johnson City, NY, for Felony Driving While Intoxicated, Driving While Intoxicated-Leandra’s Law, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st degree, and 3 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
 
Shortly before 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, Troopers stopped a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Interstate 88 in Schoharie. Upon interviewing the driver, Farrahd Singleton, the patrol could smell the odor of alcohol coming from inside the car, and observed three children under the age of 11 in the backseat. Singleton was administered the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, which he failed, and was taken into custody.
 
Singleton was transported to SP Cobleskill where he provided a breath sample of .17% B.A.C. He was arraigned in Esperance Town Court and remanded to Schoharie County Jail in lieu of $2,000 cash or $6,000 bond. He is due back in Schoharie Town Court on September 9, 2019 at 3:00 p.m.
