 Chestnut Ridge, NY – On September 22, 2019 at approximately 10:00 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on the Garden State Parkway in the village of Chestnut Ridge for a vehicle and traffic violation.  The driver, Kiah L. Vanauken, 27, of Central Nyack, NY, was found to be intoxicated.  She was transported to SP Tarrytown where her blood alcohol content was determined to be .21%. 
 
Vanauken was subsequently charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated; an Unclassified Misdemeanor and vehicle and traffic violations.  She was released to a sober third party with appearance tickets returnable to the Village of Chestnut Ridge Court on October 23, 2019 at 6:00 p.m.
