On March 21st, 2022, New York State Troopers arrested Wade Pfleuger, 41, of South Dayton, for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree.
 
The Troopers and a Brant Police unit pulled over a vehicle on Route 20 in Brant for suspended license plates. Pfleuger was placed under arrest after failing several SFSTs. A smoking device containing methamphetamine residue was located inside Pfleuger’s vehicle. Pfleuger was transported to SP Fredonia where he was evaluated by a Fredonia Police Drug Recognition Expert and determined to be under the influence of a Central Nervous System stimulant and a depressant. Pfleuger provided a blood sample at Brooks Memorial Hospital and was then transported back to SP Fredonia for processing. Pfleuger was issued tickets and is scheduled to appear in the town of Brant Court next month.
