On August 23, 2021 at 10:30 am, Troopers out of SP Clarence arrested Ian A. Gunter, 38 of Williamsville, NY for Possession of a forged instrument, obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest, criminal possession of a controlled substance, operating a motor vehicle with out insurance, operating a motor vehicle with out a registration and no valid driver’s license.

 

 

On August 22, 2021, Troopers stopped Gunter on SR 5 in the town of Clarence for no front plate and no registration sticker on the vehicle. It was determined that the plate on the rear of the vehicle was fake and that Gunter had been operating the vehicle without a valid license. Gunter had a suspended FL license and no NYS license. The vehicle Gunter was operating was not registered or insured and should not be operated on the highway. Vehicle needed to be towed from the highway, prior to the vehicle being removed an inventory of the vehicle was conducted. During the inventory Oxycodone and Methamphetamine were located on the floor of the vehicle. Gunter then became uncooperative and was placed under arrest. was transported to SP Clarence for processing and was arraigned virtually.

 

A court date was set for a later date in the town of Clarence court.
