During the month of August, members of the New York State Police in Troop C removed 36 people off the roadways who were arrested for Driving While Intoxicated or Driving While Ability Impaired. 
 
On August 1, 2020 at approximately 1:20 a.m., New York State Police at Ithaca arrested Ryan M. Stratton, age 21 of Ithaca, NY for the misdemeanor of Driving While Intoxicated.  Troopers were dispatched by Tompkins County 911 to the report of a one-vehicle rollover on Mecklenburg Road in the town of Ithaca.  Troopers found Stratton being tended to by EMS and fire personnel.  Stratton was transported by Bangs Ambulance to Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital for head and neck injuries. While still at the scene, when troopers asked Stratton about what happened, troopers detected and odor of an alcoholic beverage.  After he was released from the hospital, Stratton was processed at SP Ithaca and issued appearance tickets for DWI to the town of Ithaca court on August 26, 2020.
 
On August 1, 2020 at approximately 11:14 a.m., New York State Police at Oneonta arrested Randall H. Wilson, age 46 of Davenport, NY for the misdemeanor of Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated.  A trooper was dispatched by Otsego County 911 to the report of a vehicle in the ditch on County Highway 12 in the town of Laurens.  While interviewing Wilson, the trooper observed common characteristics associated with impairment.   He was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests, which he failed and was arrested.  Wilson was transported to SP Oneonta for processing where his reportable B.A.C was .25%.  He was released on appearance tickets to the town of Laurens court on September 3, 2020 then turned over to a sober third party. 

 

On August 1, 2020 at approximately 4:53 p.m., New York State Police at Norwich arrested William P. Knuth, age 22 of Stroudsburg, PA for the misdemeanor of Driving While Intoxicated.  Troopers were dispatched by Chenango County 911 to a two-car crash on County Road 32 in the town of Norwich.  While interviewing Knuth, a trooper detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage and investigated further.  Knuth was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests, which he failed.  His reportable B.A.C was .14%.  Knuth was arrested and was later released on appearance tickets to the town of Norwich court for September 3, 2020 then turned over to a sober third party.   

On August 1, 2020 at approximately 9:40 p.m., New York State Police at Homer arrested David S. Keiper, age 55 of Center Valley, PA for the misdemeanor of Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated.  Troopers received a complaint from Cortland County 911 about a motorist traveling southbound on Interstate 81 and unable to maintain a lane.  Troopers spotted the vehicle near mile marker 52 in the town of Cortlandville and observed vehicle and traffic infractions.  A traffic stop was initiated.  Troopers interviewed Keiper and observed characteristics associated with alcohol impairment.  After an investigation, he was arrested.  Keiper’s reportable B.A.C was .28%.  He was processed at SP Homer and released on appearance tickets to the town of Cortlandville court on October 5, 2020.

On August 1, 2020 at approximately 11:45 p.m., New York State Police at Ithaca arrested Chelsey M. Tilton, age 24 of Dryden, NY for the felony of Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the first degree and the misdemeanor of Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs. A trooper was dispatched by Tompkins County 911 to check on the welfare of the operator of a vehicle who had stopped on the side of Dryden Road near Springhouse Road.  When the trooper arrived, she observed the vehicle start moving but stopped the vehicle to check on the driver.  The trooper observed characteristics commonly associated with impairment.  After an investigation, Tilton was arrested.  She was processed and issued appearance tickets to the town of Dryden court on September 21, 2020 then turned over to a sober third party. 

On August 3, 2020 at approximately 6:20 p.m., New York State Police at Oneonta arrested James H. Presnell, age 72 of Smyrna, NY for the misdemeanor of Driving While Intoxicated.  Troopers on patrol on State Highway 12 in the town of Sherburne observed a vehicle make traffic infractions and initiated a traffic stop.  After an investigation, Presnell was arrested for DWI.  His reportable B.A.C was .09%.  Presnell was processed and released on appearance tickets to the village of Sherburne court on August 22, 2020. 

On August 4, 2020 at approximately 2:34 p.m., New York State Police at Binghamton arrested David L. Bronson, age 67 of Windsor, NY for the misdemeanor of Driving While Intoxicated.  Troopers were dispatched by Broome County 911 to a report of a crash on State Route 79 in the town of Windsor.  A complainant told troopers that he saw Bronson strike a parked car and continue driving.  The complainant followed the vehicle and was able to provide troopers with the vehicle’s license plate and a description of the operator.  After an investigation, Bronson was arrested.  He was transported to SP Binghamton where his reportable B.A.C was .16%.  Bronson was issued appearance tickets to the town of Windsor for September 14, 2020 then turned over to a sober third party. 

On August 5, 2020 at approximately 6:25 p.m., New York State Police at Homer (Interstate Patrol) arrested Michael D. Cipolla, age 37 of East Syracuse, NY for the felony of Aggravated Unlicensed Operator in the first degree and the misdemeanor of Driving While Intoxicated.  A trooper monitoring traffic on Interstate 81 in the town of Cortlandville observed a vehicle make a traffic violation and initiated a traffic stop.  When the trooper made contact with the operator, the trooper observed characteristics associated with alcohol impairment.  A further investigation revealed that Cipolla was impaired and he was arrested.  His reportable B.A.C was .14%.  Cipolla was processed and released on appearance tickets to the town of Cortlandville court on September 28, 2020. 

On August 5, 2020 at approximately 8:59 p.m., New York State Police at Ithaca arrested James E. Cornell of Caroline, NY for the misdemeanor of Driving While Intoxicated.  A trooper was dispatched by Tompkins County 911 to a report of a car in a ditch off of Braley Hill Road in the town of Caroline.  When the trooper arrived, he found the vehicle but no operator.  The trooper and a Tompkins County Sheriff’s Deputy were able to locate Cornell in the field several feet away from the crash.  The trooper observed an odor of an alcoholic beverage while interviewing Cornell.  He was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests, which he failed.  Cornell was arrested and transported to SP Ithaca for processing.  Cornell was issued appearance tickets to the town of a Caroline court on August 31, 2020 then released to a sober third party. 

On August 6, 2020 at approximately 5:04 am., New York State Police at Oneonta arrested George L. Bruso, age 59 of Albany, NY for the misdemeanors of Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the second degree and Driving While Intoxicated.  Troopers were dispatched by Otsego 911 for a report of a vehicle off the roadway on State Highway 7 in the town of Maryland.  The troopers discovered that the vehicle was stopped because it ran out of gas.  An investigation revealed that Bruso was operating the vehicle and he was impaired.  After failing standardized field sobriety tests, Bruso was arrested.  His reportable B.A.C. was .10%.  He was processed and released on appearance tickets to the town of Maryland court on August 18, 2020 and released to sober third party. 

On August 7, 2020 at approximately 2:30 p.m., New York State Police at Norwich arrested Daryl L. Townsend, age 55 of Bainbridge, NY for the misdemeanor of Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs.  A trooper was dispatched by Chenango County 911 to the report of vehicle stopped in the middle of the road on County Road 36 in the town of Norwich.  According to the 911 caller, the driver of the vehicle was passed out in the driver’s seat.  Norwich Fire assisted while on scene by evaluating Townsend. The trooper’s investigation revealed that Townsend was impaired, and he was arrested.  Townsend was processed and released on appearance tickets to the town of Norwich court on October 1, 2020 then turned over to a sober third party. 

On August 7, 2020 at approximately 9:30 p.m., New York State Police at Ithaca arrested Amanda S. Allen, age 35 of Dryden, NY for the misdemeanor of Driving While Intoxicated.  A trooper initiated a traffic stop on North Triphammer Road in the town of Lansing after observing a traffic infraction.  After an investigation, Allen was arrested.  Her reportable B.A.C was .10%.  She was processed at SP Ithaca and released on appearance tickets to the town of Lansing court on September 3, 2020 then released to a sober third party. 

On August 7, 2020 at approximately 11:34 p.m., New York State Police at Oneonta arrested Christina I. Delvillar, age 38 of Newark, NJ for the felony of Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the first degree and the misdemeanor of Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs.  Troopers observed a traffic infraction while on State Highway 205 in the town of Oneonta and initiated a traffic stop.  As they interviewed the driver and passenger, they smelled an odor of marihuana; which prompted a further investigation.  Troopers observed Delvillar to display characteristics associated with impairment and she was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests.  After failing the SFST’s, she was arrested.  Delvillar was transported to SP Oneonta for processing and later released on appearance tickets to the town of Oneonta court on August 18, 2020 then released to a sober third party. 

On August 8, 2020 at approximately 7:21 p.m., New York State Police at Sidney arrested Ty R. Nichols, age 54 of Johnson City, NY for the misdemeanor of Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated.  A trooper was advised by Delaware County 911 of a report of a possible intoxicated driver near Covered Bridge Road in the town of Unadilla.  The trooper was in the area and observed the vehicle make vehicle and traffic violations.  A traffic stop was initiated.  The trooper observed common characteristics associated with alcohol impairment and asked Nichols to perform standardized field sobriety tests, which he failed.  Nichols was arrested and was transported to SP Sidney for processing.  His reportable B.A.C was .22%.  Nichols was later released on appearance tickets to the town of Unadilla court on August 24, 2020 then released to the care of a sober third party. 

On August 10, 2020 at approximately 6:00 p.m., New York State Police at Stamford arrested Alexander V. Ramos, age 27 of Middletown, NY for the misdemeanor of Driving While Intoxicated. A trooper initiated a traffic stop on State Route 23 in the town of Kortright after he observed a vehicle and traffic violation.  The trooper observed characteristics of impairment and asked Ramos to perform standardized field sobriety tests, which he failed.  Ramos was arrested for DWI and transported for processing.  His reportable B.A.C was .14%.  Ramos was released on appearance tickets to the town of Kortright court on September 1, 2020 then to a sober third party. 

On August 12, 2020 at approximately 5:02 p.m., New York State Police at Binghamton arrested Rebecca A. Hart, age 37 of Windsor, NY for the misdemeanor of Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated.  A trooper was dispatched by Broome County 911 to the report of a one-car crash on State Route 17 at the exit 71 on ramp in the village of Johnson City.  When the trooper arrived, he saw that the vehicle crashed into the guiderail and Hart was being evaluated by EMS.  The trooper asked Hart to perform standardized field sobriety tests, which she failed.  Hart was arrested and transported to SP Binghamton.  Her reportable B.A.C was .25%.  Hart was issued appearance tickets to the village of Johnson City court for September 2, 2020 then released to a sober third party. 

On August 15, 2020 at approximately 6:30 p.m., New York State Police at Oneonta arrested John P. Townsend, age 50 of Davenport, NY for the misdemeanor of Driving While Intoxicated.  A trooper was dispatched by Delaware County 911 to the report of a hit and run on Gulf Road in the town of Davenport.  A complainant reported that a vehicle entered a driveway and struck the complainant’s parked vehicle.  The trooper was able to locate the vehicle and the driver on Taylor Road.  The trooper observed characteristics associated with impairment and asked Townsend to perform standardized field sobriety tests.  Townsend was arrested after failing the standardized field sobriety tests.  He was transported to SP Oneonta for processing, where his reportable B.A.C was .16%.  Townsend was released on appearance tickets to the town of Davenport court on September 8, 2020 then turned over to a sober third party. 

On August 15, 2020 at approximately 9:25 p.m., New York State Police at Oneonta arrested Alana Blaustein, age 20 of Pleasantville, NY for the misdemeanor of Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs.  A trooper was dispatched by Otsego County 911 to a complaint of a person who appeared to be under the influence while at Dick’s Sporting Goods in the town Oneonta then left the area in a vehicle.  The complainant was able to provide the trooper with a vehicle description, license plate number and description of the operator.  The trooper spotted the vehicle leaving the parking lot and observed vehicle and traffic infractions.  A traffic stop was initiated, and the trooper observed Blaustein to be impaired.  A further investigation revealed that she was under impaired by drugs and she was arrested.  Blaustein was transported to SP Oneonta for processing then released on appearance tickets to the town of Oneonta court on September 1, 2020. 

On August 16, 2020 at approximately 1:00 a.m., New York State Police at Norwich arrested Thomas C. Skoutelas, age 59 of Kempton, PA for the misdemeanor of Driving While Intoxicated.  Troopers were dispatched by Chenango County 911 to the report of a dispute in the town of Preston but then were told that one person left the area in a vehicle.  Troopers spotted the vehicle on State Highway 12 in the town of Oxford and initiated a traffic stop.  The troopers observed that Skoutelas appeared impaired and he was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests, which he failed.  Skoutelas was arrested then transported to SP Norwich for processing.  His reportable B.A.C was .09%.  Skoutelas was issued appearance tickets to the town of Oxford court on September 14, 2020 then released to a sober third party. 

On August 17, 2020 at approximately 10:30 p.m., New York State Police at Norwich arrested Casey W. Manwarren, age 33 of Plymouth, NY for the misdemeanor of Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs.  A trooper initiated a traffic stop after he observed a vehicle and traffic violation on South Canal Street in the village of Oxford.  As the trooper interviewed Manwarren, he observed characteristics associated with impairment.  The trooper also detected an odor of marihuana prompting a further investigation.  The passenger, Alora S. Stott, age 19 of Plymouth, NY was arrested after troopers located illegal drugs in her possession.  Stott was charged with five counts of the misdemeanor Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the seventh degree.   Both were transported to SP Norwich and processed.  Manwarren and Stott were released on appearance tickets to the town of Oxford court on July 31, 2020. 

On August 19, 2020 at approximately 3:04 p.m., New York State Police at Ithaca arrested Austin T. Schreiner, age 24 of Ithaca, NY for the felony of Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the first degree and the misdemeanors of Driving While Intoxicated, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the seventh degree, Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia and Resisting Arrest.  Troopers were advised by Tompkins County 911 that they had reports to 911 of a vehicle driving erratically on State Route 13.  Dispatch advised that the same vehicle had been involved in a hit and run in the city of Ithaca and had heavy front-end damage.  A trooper observed the vehicle on Hanshaw Road turning onto Etna Road and initiated a traffic stop.   The trooper and a Tompkins County Sheriff’s Deputy interviewed Schreiner and they observed him displaying common characteristics associated with impairment.  When told he was under arrest, Schreiner was uncooperative and actively resisted.  Schreiner was also found in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.  He was then transported to SP Ithaca for processing, his reportable B.A.C was .12%.  Schreiner was issued appearance tickets to the town of Dryden court on September 21, 2020 and released to a sober third party.  

On August 19, 2020 at approximately 6:30 p.m., New York State Police at Oneonta arrested Victor I. Manda, age 86 for the misdemeanor of Driving While Intoxicated.  Troopers were dispatched to a report of a one-car crash near the intersection of Franklin Mountain and Downey Roads in the town of Otego.  Troopers found the vehicle in the ditch and Manda near the vehicle being evaluated by Otego EMS.  Manda declined transport to the hospital.  As troopers interviewed Manda, they smelled an odor of an alcoholic beverage.  After failing standardized field sobriety tests, Manda was arrested for DWI.  His reportable B.A.C was .11%.  Manda was processed and released on appearance tickets to the town of Otego court for September 24, 2020 then turned over to a sober third party.

On August 19, 2020 at approximately 9:50 p.m., New York State Police at Sidney arrested Mason A. Nemitz, age 23 of Orange City, FL for the felony of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the third degree and the misdemeanors of Driving While Intoxicated, Criminal Possession of a Weapon and Possessing a Large Capacity Ammunition Feeding Device.   A trooper initiated a traffic stop on Interstate 88 in the town of Sidney after he observed a vehicle and traffic infraction.   As the trooper interviewed Nemitz, he detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage.  After failing standardized field sobriety tests, Nemitz was arrested.  His reportable B.A.C was .08%.  Troopers also found Nemitz in possession of a gun, an assault rifle and several high capacity magazines which were purchased in Florida but not legal to possess in New York.  Nemitz was processed and virtually arraigned.  He was remanded to the Delaware County Jail on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.  His next court date was set for August 25, 2020 in the town of Sidney. 

On August 20, 2020 at approximately 2:50 a.m., New York State Police at Owego arrested Kevin D. Mattison, age 45 of Waverly, NY for the misdemeanor of Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated.  Troopers were dispatched to the report of vehicle in the backyard of a home on Ellis Creek Road in the town of Barton.  The homeowner did not know the person who was in the vehicle and told 911 that its headlights were on. Troopers discovered Mattison sleeping in the driver’s seat of the running vehicle.  Troopers woke Mattison and observed characteristics commonly associated with alcohol impairment.  After an investigation, Mattison was arrested.  His reportable B.A.C was .23%.  He was processed and released on appearance tickets to the town of Barton court for September 15, 2020 then turned over to a sober third party. 

On August 20, 2020 at approximately 11:55 a.m., New York State Police at Binghamton arrested Christopher L. Knapp, age 37 of Colesville, NY for the felony of Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the first degree and the misdemeanor of Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs.  Troopers responded to a complaint of an erratic driver on Old State Road near Sanitaria Springs Road in the town of Colesville.   They found Knapp standing next to his vehicle at a property on Old State Road.  Troopers observed that he displayed several characteristics associated with drug impairment.  After an investigation, he was arrested.  Knapp was processed and released to a sober third party.  He’s scheduled to appear in the town of Colesville court on September 2, 2020. 

On August 20, 2020 at approximately 3:15 p.m., New York State Police at Endwell arrested Ryan T. Simpson, age 32 of Union, NY for the felony of Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the first degree and the misdemeanor of Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs.  Troopers were dispatched by Broome County 911 to a report of vehicle striking a curb in the Burger King parking lot on East Main Street then that the operator was unresponsive.  Troopers attempted to wake the driver and administered Narcan.  Union Volunteer ambulance arrived on scene and took over medical care; Simpson regained consciousness and was transported to Wilson Hospital.  After receiving care, Simpson was processed and issued appearance tickets for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs to the town of Union court for September 15, 2020. 

On August 21, 2020 at approximately 2:37 a.m., New York State Police at Sidney arrested Christopher J. Youngs, age 22 of Maryland, NY for the felonies of Driving While Intoxicated (with a previous conviction within 10 years) and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the first degree.  Troopers initiated a traffic stop after they observed Youngs stop in a u-turn on Interstate 88 in the town of Sidney then continue westbound.  As troopers interviewed Youngs, they observed characteristics commonly associated with impairment.  Troopers asked Youngs to perform standardized field sobriety tests, which he failed.  He was arrested for DWI, his reportable B.A.C was .15%.  Youngs was processed and released on appearance tickets to the town of Sidney Court then turned over to a sober third party. 

On August 22, 2020 at approximately 3:48 a.m., New York State Police at Norwich arrested Courtney J. Grover, age 32 of Norwich, NY for the misdemeanor of Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated.  A trooper was dispatched to a possible trespass complaint by Chenango County 911 at a residence on County Road 10 in the town of Pharsalia.  When the trooper interviewed Grover, he smelled an odor of an alcoholic beverage and inquired further.  An investigation determined that Grover drove to the residence intoxicated.  She was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests and was ultimately arrested.  Grover was transported to SP Norwich for processing, her reportable B.A.C was .23%.  Grover was issued appearance tickets to the town of Pharsalia court for September 24, 2020 and turned over to a sober third party. 

On August 22, 2020 at approximately 10:15 p.m., New York State Police at Richfield Springs arrested Christopher C. Parrino, age 25 of Little Falls, NY for the misdemeanor of Driving While Intoxicated.  A trooper was dispatched by Otsego 911 to the report of a one-car crash with injuries on State Highway 80 in the town of Springfield.  An investigation at the scene revealed that Parrino went off the roadway and struck a tree.  A 23-year-old female passenger was injured and transported by Springfield Ambulance to Bassett Hospital.  As the trooper interviewed Parrino, she smelled an odor of an alcoholic beverage and asked Parrino to perform standardized field sobriety tests.  Parrino was subsequently arrested and transported to SP Richfield Springs for processing, his reportable B.A.C was .12%.  Parrino was released on appearance tickets to the town of Springfield court for October 1, 2020 then turned over to a sober third party. 

On August 22, 2020 at approximately 9:18 p.m., New York State Police arrested Stephanie N. Easton, age 49 of Bainbridge, NY for the misdemeanor of Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs.  Easton drove through a sobriety checkpoint on State Highway 28 in the village of Sidney and a trooper observed characteristics commonly associated with impairment.  After an investigation and failing standardized field sobriety tests, Easton was arrested.  She was processed and released on appearance tickets to the village of Sidney court on September 8, 2020. 

On Friday, August 28, 2020 at approximately 12:30 p.m., New York State Police at Oneonta arrested Steven D. Wiedeman, age 72 of Otego, NY for the misdemeanor of Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs.  Multiple motorists were forced off the roadway and had to take evasive action when a vehicle was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of I-88 around 11:59 a.m.  A Senior Investigator for the State Police attempted to stop the vehicle and after close to seven miles was able to get the driver into a u-turn near exit 16.  Wiedeman was issued appearance tickets to the city of Oneonta court on September 28, 2020 then released to a sober third party. 

On August 28, 2020 at approximately 10:26 p.m., New York State Police at Ithaca arrested Antonio P. Morrow, age 39 of Brooktondale, NY for the misdemeanor of Driving While Intoxicated.  A trooper was dispatched by Tompkins County 911 to the report of a vehicle in the ditch near East Miller and Coddington Roads in the town of Ithaca.  While the trooper interviewed Morrow about what happened, she detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage.  The trooper asked Morrow to perform standardized field sobriety tests, which he failed.  Morrow was arrested, his reportable B.A.C was .10%.  Morrow was processed at SP Ithaca and released on appearance tickets to the town of Danby court on September 29, 2020 then turned over to a sober third party. 

On August 29, 2020 at approximately 1:36 a.m., New York State Police at Owego arrested Kevin P. Shannon, age 27 of Exeter, PA for the misdemeanor of Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated.  Troopers monitoring traffic on State Highway 17, near exit 63 in the town of Nichols observed a vehicle make a vehicle and traffic infraction.  Troopers initiated a traffic stop and observed Shannon displaying common characteristics associated with alcohol impairment.  A trooper asked Shannon to perform standardized field sobriety tests, which he failed.  Shannon was arrested, his reportable B.A.C was .19%.  He was processed at SP Owego and released on appearance tickets to the town of Nichols court on September 16, 2020 then turned over to a sober third party. 

On August 29, 2020 at approximately 5:42 a.m., New York State Police at Oneonta arrested Stephen T. Maricle, age 30 of Morris, NY for the misdemeanor of Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated.  Troopers were on a complaint at a residence on Draper Road in the town of Morris when they saw Maricle arrive at the location.  Troopers observed that he appeared intoxicated and they also detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage.  Maricle was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests, which he failed.  Maricle was subsequently arrested, his reportable B.A.C was .18%.  Maricle was processed and released on appearance tickets to the town of Morris court and turned over to a sober third party. 

On August 29, 2020 at approximately 11:44 p.m., New York State Police at Homer arrested Riley K. Foster, age 22 of Cortland, NY for the misdemeanor of Driving While Intoxicated.  A trooper on patrol on State Route 41 in the town of Cortlandville observed vehicle and traffic violations and initiated a traffic stop.  As the trooper interviewed Foster, he detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage.  Foster was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests, which he failed.  Foster was arrested, his reportable B.A.C was .14%.  He was processed at SP Homer and released on appearance tickets to the town of Cortlandville court on October 26, 2020 then turned over to a sober third party.

On August 30, 2020 at approximately 5:20 a.m., New York State Police at Richfield Springs arrested Michael D. Williams, age 28 of Waterville, NY for the misdemeanor of Driving While Intoxicated.  Troopers were dispatched by Otsego County 911 to the report of a vehicle that struck a home on County Road 19 in the town of Plainfield.  Troopers interviewed Williams, who they observed to display several common characteristics associated with alcohol impairment.  After an investigation, he was arrested.  Williams’s reportable B.A.C was .08%.  He was processed and released on appearance tickets to the town of Plainfield court on October 14, 2020 then turned over to a sober third party.
