On December 14, 2022, Troopers arrested Tiffany J. David, age 30, of Akwesasne, PQ for Criminal Impersonation 2nd, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th, Criminal Use Drug paraphernalia 2nd, and multiple vehicle and traffic violations. 

On December 14, 2022, around 10:40 a.m., Troopers responded to a personal injury accident on State Highway 37C in the town of Brasher.  An investigation determined a black 2006 Honda CRV operated by David, lost control due to speed causing her to exit the roadway and overturn in the ditch. While interviewing David, she showed signs of impairment, SFST’s were administrated which she failed. She was placed under arrest and transported to SP Massena where a Drug Recognition Expert conducted an evaluation. David submitted to a PBT which showed negative for presence of alcohol. She was transported to Massena Hospital, where she agreed to submit to blood test to determine the drug content.

David was issued traffic tickets for driving while ability impaired by drugs, moved from lane unsafely, Aggravated unlicensed operator 3rd, and Unlicensed operator.  David was released on appearance tickets for CPCS7th, Criminal use drug paraphernalia, and criminal impersonation 2nd.   All tickets are returnable to the Town of Brasher Court for a later date in January 2023. 

Further investigation, David was found to be wanted on two bench warrants out of Massena Town Court.  David was arraigned in Massena Town Court for the two bench warrants.  She was remanded to St. Lawrence County Jail, bail set at $2,500 cash or $5,000 bond.
