On January 10, 2022, at approximately 9:27 p.m., troopers out of SP Rochester responded to a vehicle off the roadway in the area of State Route 104 at Portland Avenue.  Upon arrival, troopers observed a 2012 Nissan in the median of State Route 104 with heavy front end damage and a light pole down.  While interviewing the operator of the vehicle, Jimmy Gonzalez, a strong odor of alcoholic beverage was detected from the inside of the vehicle.  Gonzalez failed a series of roadside sobriety tests and was subsequently arrested for DWI.

Gonzalez was issued traffic tickets returnable to the Irondequoit Town Court for a date in February.
